2. 被動語態(tài)的用法

　�。�1）不知道或沒有必要說明動作的執(zhí)行者是誰，不用by＋動作執(zhí)行者短語。

　　Football is played widely all over the world.

　　全世界都廣泛地踢足球。

　�。�2）強(qiáng)調(diào)動作的承受者。

　　The bank was robbed yesterday afternoon.

　　昨天下午這家銀行遭到搶劫。

　�。�3）作客觀說明時，常采用一種被動語態(tài)句型。

　　It is reported that about twenty children have died of flu in theUSA.

　　據(jù)報道美國大約二十名兒童死于流感。
